The Ultimate Sacrifice Foundation (TUSF) Warrior Ride
Golden, CO – TUSF continues the TUSF Warrior Ride and hosts a Memorial Day Celebration at 11:00am MST on Saturday, 28 MAY 2022 from the Cannonball Creek Brewing Company located at 393 Washington Avenue, Golden, CO 80403.
The TUSF Warrior Ride is a coast-to-coast, 3,700 mile bicycle ride from Boston, MA to Coronado, CA conducted by Army Veteran Kyle Bigue to raise awareness regarding the elevated rates of suicidal ideation and post-traumatic stress within our Nation’s Service Member, Veteran, and Gold Star Family communities. This monumental endeavor began on 29 April with Kyle touching the Atlantic Ocean in Boston, and will end mid-June when he touches the Pacific Ocean in Coronado, Ca. Along the preplanned route, TUSF is hosting multiple events to raise awareness regarding the psychological toll that combat has on the human psyche, and to honor those that gave their lives while serving. Funds raised during the TUSF Warrior Ride will be used to send struggling members of the Military Community to partnering medical treatment facilities, free of charge.
On Saturday, 28 May 2022, Kyle will be passing through the Golden-area, and TUSF will host a Memorial Day Celebration to honor those who've served, past and present, and the families of those who've paid the ultimate sacrifice. This event will occur from 11:00am to 2:00pm MST at the Cannonball Creek Brewing Company, located at 393 Washington Avenue in Golden; tickets can be purchased up to and including 28 May 2022, but space is limited. About The Ultimate Sacrifice Foundation & The Warrior Rider:
TUSF is a veteran-founded and operated non-profit organization dedicated to improving the health, well-being, and resilience of our Nation’s Service Members, Veterans, and Gold Star Families through community-healing and purpose-instilling events, as well as multiple health & wellness programs offered through our foundation. A primary tenet of our mission-set is to mitigate the increased rates suicidal ideation and post-traumatic stress within Military Communities by sending individuals struggling with their mental health to partnering medical treatment facilities to get the assistance they need and deserve; this includes the TUSF Warrior Rider, Kyle Bigue. To find out more about TUSF and to follow our journey, visit www.t-usf.org or follow us on social media (FB: Ultimate Sacrifice Foundation / IG: @ultimate_sacrifice_foundation).
Kyle Bigue, the TUSF Warrior Rider, is a Veteran, warrior, and brother that deployed to Afghanistan to conduct combat operations with multiple TUSF Staff Members. After returning home, Kyle began struggling with his own mental health, and he continues to this day to wage internal battles against invisible enemies. Though this event will help thousands with similar struggles, the TUSF Warrior Ride will also serve as a personal healing journey for Kyle and will announce to the nation that TUSF is here, always and forever.
