10th Mountain Whiskey & Spirit Company is looking for a creative, innovative, and fun Director of Social Media.

This is a fun position full of creative brainstorming, getting your hands dirty, and creating buzz-worthy, viral social content!

Job Responsibilities:

DIRECTOR OF SOCIAL MEDIA/COMMUNICATIONS

  • DUTIES:

    • Management of our email newsletter with the intent of increasing frequency

    • Whiskey Rewards app management

    • Develop social media content and management along with the following duties:

    • Creating emotional, impactful, objective-oriented content

    • Mastering the ability to turn any branded content into a volume of social gold (clips, gifs, graphics, photos, stories, copy, etc.)

    • Working with a wide range and quality of video and static imagery - from a collection of photography to short video clips - and turning them into content assets built for individual platforms and audiences

    • Collaborating with our teams to create videos, a plethora of photography, social copy, gifs, short clips, streaming stories, etc.

    • Honing your design, editing, and blurb writing skills

    • Utilizing standard industry software and social platforms

    • Wrangling and rolling with your teammates to service rapid turnaround times

    • Capture trending moments, deliver and receive feedback

    • Keep a clear, enthusiastic, and proactive attitude towards content creation

    • Working on occasional tasting room shift in Vail village or Gypsum

    • Visit on and off-premise accounts to encourage additional sales and create content. 

    • Working tasting events throughout the year

    • Help bottle and label

    • Graphic design projects

      • Digital graphics for Ads, Emails, and websites

      • Label Design

      • Signs & Flyers

      • Sell Sheets

      • Business Cards

      • Banners

    • Coordinate Photoshoots for new launches, merch drops, etc.

    • Branded photo editing & delivery to groups who visit/host events with us

    • Coordinate Influencers

    • Website Design & Updates

    • Working Event Tents

    • Write Blogs

    • Campaign Ideas/Execution

Education & Experience

  • A marketing-related degree is preferred but not required. 

  • Adobe Photoshop is a plus

     

You will also be expected to learn different aspects of the distillation process and the marketing that goes into creating a national brand.
